  1. Prepare 1 cup moong dhal
  2. Make ready 1 bowl jaggery
  3. Prepare 1 cup coconut milk

Instructions to make Moong Payasam:
  1. First, Prepare jaggery syrup. In a pan add jaggery and 1/4th cup of water. Cook till the syrup is done. Pressure cook moong dhal for 5 to 6 whistles.
  2. Once pressure is out mash the moong dhal. Add jaggery syrup to it. Finally add coconut milk. Garnish with loads of nuts fried in ghee. Serve it hot or cold
