The ingredients needed to make Adai dossa:
  1. Get 1 cup Raw Rice
  2. Prepare 1 cup Idli Rice
  3. Get 1/4 cup Toor Dhal
  4. Take 1/4 cup Chana Dal
  5. Make ready 1/4 cup Urad Dal
  6. Make ready pinch Turmeric powder
  7. Get 1.5 tsp Fennel seeds
  8. Prepare 2 Red Chillies
  9. Make ready 2 tbsp Moong Dhal
  10. Prepare Hing – a generous pinch
  11. Get Salt to taste
  12. Prepare 2 Big Onion medium sized finely chopped
  13. Make ready 2.5 tbsp Garlic sized finely chopped
  14. Make ready 2 tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
  15. Prepare 1 tsp Oil
Instructions to make Adai dossa:
  1. Soak the rice and dhals for atleast 2-3 hours, Keep aside. Grind it together with red chillies and fennel seeds to a coarse paste. Add salt, turmeric powder, hing mix well and set aside.
  2. Add onion, garlic and coriander leaves and mix well. Add little water to make it to slightly running consistency slightly thicker than the dosa batter.
  3. Heat the dosa tawa, take one laddle full and spread the batter as we do for dosa. Drizzle little oil and once it is cooked turn to other side and cook till golden brown.
