  1. Take 150 grams pasta shapes
  2. Make ready 4 small tomatoes (I used baby plum tomatoes)
  3. Prepare 1/4 red pepper
  4. Make ready 1/4 orange pepper
  5. Prepare 1 small carrot peeled
  6. Take 1 handful of cheese
  7. Make ready 2 inches of cucumber
  8. Make ready 1 spring onion
  9. Prepare 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  10. Make ready 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  11. Take 1 small clove of garlic (optional)
  12. Get 1 small knob of butter
Steps to make Healthy Pasta Salad:
  1. cook pasta according to instructions
  2. while pasta is cooking chop tomatoes, pepper, cucumber and spring onion into small pieces
  3. grate the carrot and cheese
  4. finely crushed the garlic
  5. as soon as the pasta is cooked, drain and add the garlic and butter. put back on a low heat and stir until the butter is melted. remove from heat and add the carrot, cheese, tomatoes and pepper. stir until combined
  6. leave to cool slightly then add the cucumber
  7. for my daughter I added one tbsp of mayonnaise, stirred and served hers. then I added the rest of the mayo, spring onion, salt and pepper for me
  8. you can change the mayonnaise for salad cream or other salad dressings. bit more healthy remove the cheese. goes well with cooked chicken or fish. for salad tacos I lined my bowl with lettuce leaves and used them as taco shells
