To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook raita using 7 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Raita:
  1. Prepare fresh Yogurt or Curd
  2. Get medium Onion sliced
  3. Prepare Cucumber (peeled & chopped)
  4. Prepare Salt to taste
  5. Prepare green chilli chopped
  6. Prepare roasted crushed Cumin
  7. Get black pepper powder
Instructions to make Raita:
  1. Chill the yogurt. Wash and peel the cucumber and chopped. Chopped green chilli. (Onion slices ko salt lagake ten minutes rakh dain phir wash kar lain)
  2. Add yogurt,salt, black pepper powder and crushed Cumin to a mixing bowl. Whisk them until smooth with a hand beater.
  3. Next add chopped cucumber, green chilli and onion slices.
  4. Stir gently.
  5. Serve raita with pulao, biryani or paratha.
