The ingredients needed to make Rose chai masala:
  1. Prepare 3/4 mug milk of your choice; if you’re using a plant-based milk, use an unsweetened version
  2. Get 1/2 mug water
  3. Take 5 cardamom pods, crushed
  4. Make ready 1/2 tsp ground ginger(or a peeled, grated 1-2cm chunk fresh ginger)
  5. Take 3 cloves
  6. Get 1 tsp fennel seeds
  7. Take 2-3 dried rosebuds (the ones used for tea)
  8. Take 1 tsp black tea - or 1 teabag
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon - or a cinnamon stick
  10. Get 1-2 tbsp rose water
  11. Get Sweetener of choice eg jaggery or honey
Steps to make Rose chai masala:
  1. Put everything except the cinnamon, rose water and sweetener into a pan. Heat on a low heat for 10- 15 mins.
  2. Add the rose water to taste. And finally the sugar/ honey and enjoy 😋
