  1. First pressure cook these beans listed below for two whistles and keep. To Make Sambhar: In a deep kadai add oil 1/3 teaspoon mustard seeds, chanadhal hing and turmeric curry pata and saute well. Then add onions carrot salt and saute well.Now add the tamarind pulp with sambahar powder and let it boil for 3 mins once done add the toor dhal mashed with salt to it and let it boil for a min.Keep aside.

  3. Serve upma and sambhar together.
