Hey everyone, it is Louise, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to prepare a distinctive dish, crème brulee. One of my favorites. For mine, I’m gonna make it a bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Crème Brulee is one of the most well liked of recent trending foods on earth. It is enjoyed by millions daily. It is simple, it is quick, it tastes yummy. They are fine and they look fantastic. Crème Brulee is something that I have loved my whole life.

To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have crème brulee using 5 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Crème Brulee:
  1. Make ready 600 ml Cream :
  2. Make ready 2 tbsps Vanilla Essence :
  3. Prepare 6 Egg yolks :
  4. Make ready 1/4 cup Caster Sugar :
  5. Make ready 120 g Sugar : (enough to sprinkle over the baked custards)
Instructions to make Crème Brulee:
  1. Mix the cream and vanilla and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once it reaches scalding point, remove from the heat
  2. While the cream and vanilla was boiling, I whisked the yolks and caster sugar for a few minutes until it became really creamy. Pour the cream mixture into the yolk mixture and whisk until it is well combined. Strain the mixture and pour into 4 ramekins
  3. Preheat the oven to 120C. In a deep roasting pan, place a folded tea towel and carefully place the ramekins over the towel. Pour boiling water into the pan to come halfway up the sides of the ramekins. Cover the pan loosely with foil
  4. Bake for 40minutes or until the custard is set. Remove the ramekins and set aside to cool. I then placed it in the fridge until it got cold
  5. When it was time for dessert, I sprinkled the sugar over the baked custards and broiled until the sugar caramelised and formed a hard layer
  6. Enjoy! :)
